What is the dosage and how should it be used?

Metaxalone comes as a tablet to be taken by mouth.

Metaxalone comes in two dosages: a 400 mg tablet and an 800 mg tablet.

It usually is taken three or four times a day.

Take each dose with a full glass of water.

Take metaxalone exactly as directed. Do not take more or less of it, or take it more often than prescribed by your doctor.
